I had previous experience in sales, and I felt that I could apply the skills I had developed in my career so far. Also, before joining the company, I had the opportunity to talk to some current employees, and I was attracted by the open and friendly atmosphere within the company. These were the reasons why I decided to join UNIVA Japan.
My main responsibility is proposing solutions to help corporate clients reduce their air conditioning costs.As we are also a manufacturer, I’m also involved in developing and expanding relationships with sales agents.
The most fulfilling part of the job—which I think is common to all sales roles—is when the client agrees with our proposal and places an order. As a manufacturer, we are in a position to respond more flexibly to customer needs and pricing negotiations compared to salespeople who simply resell products from manufacturers. Being able to move forward with a plan I created myself is something I find uniquely rewarding about working at our company.
I’d like to expand our sales channels so that more customers can experience the value of our products. In addition, I hope to get involved in updating existing products and planning new ones.
The company has a flat, open culture where it’s easy to ask for help when needed, which provides a strong sense of reassurance. There’s also no excessive overtime, making it easy to maintain a good work-life balance!
